50% Funded Website Training for Herefordshire & Worcestershire Businesses
If you’ve been avoiding your site because it feels overwhelming or you’re constantly having to Google how to make basic changes but still don’t really trust what you’re doing isn’t going to break your website… you’re not alone. Most business owners didn’t get into business to become a web expert, but you still need to be able to manage your site with confidence so it doesn’t become outdated and unsecured.
That’s where my WordPress training comes in, and now, thanks to the Skills Boost grant, there’s funding available to help you do it.
I’ve been approved as a Skills Boost Training Provider, which means if your business is based in Herefordshire or Worcestershire, you can now claim back 50% of your WordPress training costs with me!
Whether your site was DIY’d, built by someone else or left untouched because you’re too scared to click anything, this is your chance to get support and proper training tailored to your exact website setup.
And yes, the funding can help cover it!

- Access up to £6,000 per business
- Use it for accredited or non-accredited training (yes that includes website training)

Funding is open until March 2026 but it’s first come first served so if this sounds like something you need don’t sit on it.
What kind of website training is eligible?
All of it as long as it helps you grow your skills feel more confident or manage your website more effectively.
My WordPress training is designed to meet you where you’re at. No tech jargon. No generic slides. No pretending you should already know how it all works.
This is done-with-you support which means we work together live 1:1 and tackle what’s actually going wrong with your site.
You can book either:
- A half-day session (3 hours)
- A full-day session (7 hours, with breaks)
What can we actually do during the training?
We’ll focus on what you need but here are some of the most common reasons clients book a session with me:
- The layout’s broken and you don’t know how to fix it
- You’ve added something and now the whole page looks wrong
- Someone else built your site but you have no idea how to use it
- You need to add functionality or set up plugins but don’t know where to start
- You’re unsure how to keep your site safe backed up or secure
- You want to learn how to post blogs or make regular content changes
- You want SEO basics and to check your setup is actually working
- You’re ready to get more out of your site instead of avoiding it
You’ll leave the session with real progress made a personalised action plan a recording (if we’re online) and 30 days of support so you’re not left stuck afterwards.
This isn’t ‘I’ll do it for you’.
This is ‘we’ll do it together so next time you’ll know exactly what to do’.
Want to build a website from scratch?
If you want to learn how to build a WordPress website from scratch or completely overhaul your website but you don’t know where to start this is for you too.
I offer multi-day WordPress training where we build your site together over 2–3 full days. It’s ideal if:
- You want a new website but still want full control and understanding
- You’re happy to DIY but want expert guidance along the way
- You want a clean strategic build without going it alone
We don’t have to do it all in one go. We’ll plan it around your schedule. The result? A fully functioning website you understand and confidence that you can keep it updated.
Training can be run in person or over Zoom. Both work equally well and we’ll choose what suits you best.
Some clients want to get hands-on and update their site during the session. Others prefer to watch learn and ask questions while I guide them. Either way the support is tailored to your pace and what you feel confident doing.
This is about building your confidence not pushing you too fast.
